Himachal Pradesh University, Recruitment Branch, Shimla, inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professors, Clerks, Teaching and Non-teaching posts.

No. of vacancies: 43 Nos. (SC—8; ST—4; OBC—10; General—21). Out of total- 12 Nos. Ex-serviceman and 2nos for PWD candidates.
Qualification: Higher Secondary (Class 10+2) and possess Typewriting speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi and should have knowledge in Computer Application such as – MS Office.
Age limit: between 18yrs to 45yrs as on last date of application. SC/ST and PWD candidates of Himachal Pradesh will receive age relaxation as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.5900—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1900.
Application Fee: Interested candidates should pay Application fee of Rs.300 (Rs.75 in case of SC/ST/OBC/BPL-Antodya candidates) in form of IPO drawn in favour of — Finance Officer, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla-171005 payable at Shimla.
Ex-Serviceman are exempted from paying fee. Appointment for the post of Clerk will be on contract basis.
Selection will be through Test/ Interview, as decided by the authority. Candidates will be intimated in due course.
